Monday 9th is club meeting night.
Tomorrow (Monday 9th) is club meeting night. A meesage from Helen:
“A reminder for everyone; the next meeting, is this coming Monday, 9th May and will be held at the Royal Oak, Much Marcle starting at 8pm.
A few things that we will be discussing or re-discussing include;
Saturday 21st May – West Midlands Classic & Performance Show 2011, Bridgnorth, Staffordshire WV15 5HA. I picked up a leaflet whilst at the Malvern Show the other week for anyone who may be interested in going.
Sunday 22nd May – The reschedule Christmas dinner; this date has been picked since at the last meeting more could make Sunday lunch than Saturday night. It is still going to be at the Bell, Bosbury but will now be a BBQ. The landlady;
Fiona has said we will be able to park our cars round the back of the pub in the
pony paddock. The BBQ will cost £7.99 a head and this includes a choice of
marinated chicken, spare ribs, sausages or burgers and 6/8 different salad and rolls or jacket potato. I don’t think anyone will go hungry! If you fancy an
8oz steak instead this is a little bit more expensive and will be £9.99. If
you’ve got room desserts are available and these will be £4.25 each Please
could people let me know definitely if they are coming along at Monday’s
meeting.
Monday 13th June – NEXT MEETING at the Bluebell, Ryall on the A38. Could people please let me know if they fancy playing a game of skittles (after the meeting) since I will have to let the pub know to put them out. The function room is hired out on Mondays free of charge and I am assuming the skittles are too.
Sunday 19th June – rid out to Blists hill / Ironbridge is being organised by
Paul & Nicky. A good response at the last meeting; we have 12 people down to
come along but obviously more names would be good.
Sunday 3 July – BBQ at Richard & Margaret’s. Please could you let Richard know ASAP if you would like to partake of their hospitality.
Monday 11 July – MEETING – venue yet to be decided.
Sunday 14th August – rid out to Tinton Abbey via the Forest of Dean is being
organised by Adrian & I. Again, a good response at the last meeting; 12 put
their name down as wanting to come along but obviously more would be good.
If you are unable to make the meeting on Monday, please, could you let me know if you would like to join in on any of the above, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Helen”
